Verse of the Day
I am the Executive Assistant here at Riverside Church in Big Lake, MN (also as C&MA church), and I am working with our Senior Pastor to evaluate possible material for our fall kick-off in September 2012. One of the items we’ve been looking at is GodQuest: Discover the God Your Heart Is Searching For and it appears to me like you’ve used this recently with your congregation? If so, I’d love to talk with someone on staff who has time to let me know how the journey went.
We are always looking for good ways to reach and teach our community, and have found that using a fall all-church journey to begin the school year is helpful. We’ve used things in the past like “r12,” “One Month to Live,” “God Questions,” and “Purpose Driven Life.” Would love to hear how your congregation responded to the material, what worked and didn’t work, and if you would recommend this to another church.
